If you haven’t yet met Brittany, our newest Serendipity team member, you’re in for a real treat. She’s as sweet as can be, and we love having her here.
I asked her a few questions this week to help y’all get to know her, and she’s graciously answered here. Make sure you say hello next time you see her in the shop! You’ll also see her on our social media – you’ll love her!
What is the best thing about working at Serendipity?
The environment is so welcoming, refreshing, and friendly. You never feel like a stranger. Ellen has created such a serene place; it’s a place where I love to be.
Who taught you to knit/crochet/needlepoint?
I learned how to crochet in 8th grade from my science teacher in an elective class. I learned how to knit and embroider my sophomore year of undergrad from my Creativity professor, Heather Green.
What is your favorite book?
My favorite book is It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini. It has made me the person I am today.
