I’m scurrying around making plans for my BRAND NEW online workshop that’s happening on January 11th. It’s the “Winter Wonderland Needlepoint Workshop“ and it’s gonna be soooo much fun!!!
Grab yourself a nice warm cuppa and I’ll tell you all about it…
If you’re always on the “look-out” for terrific new stitches to use on your winter-themed needlepoint projects, then you’re going to L-O-V-E the Winter Wonderland Needlepoint Workshop!
We’ll take a peek at a variety of stitches and threads for snow, wintry skies, furry critters, ice, and LOTS more! Heck – we may even stop in for a quick visit with Santa! 😉
And just in case you’re wondering…
we’ll take a peek at oodles and oodles of BRAND NEW STITCHES – completely different from the 2019 Winter Threadventure!
Yep – you read that right! I’m sharing even more stitches that you can use for the frosty features on your winter-themed needlepoint canvases.
There’s something for everyone, too – no matter your skill level.
The Winter Wonderland Needlepoint Workshop is the perfect way to add to your needlepoint skill set.
Wanna know the best part? You don’t have to leave your house to participate! (You can even stitch along with me in your jammies if you want!)
And since the new year is a terrific time to learn something new…
we’ll be gathering on January 11th at 2:00 p.m. (CST) for the two-hour stitch-stravaganza!
When you sign up for the Winter Wonderland Needlepoint Workshop, you’ll get a note from me with all the details on how to join the live workshop from your computer, tablet, or mobile device.
In the workshop, you’ll get 20 + stitch/thread combinations that you can use on your winter-themed canvases. (Some of them can be used on non-winter themed projects, too!) And I’ll share a smorgasbord of thread suggestions that you can use to pair with the new stitches.
Some people prefer to spend their stitching time working on a canvas rather than creating stitch samples for a reference notebook and I understand.
That’s why I’ll share ideas for how to use the 20 + stitches on canvases just like these…
so you can actually apply what you’re learning to a real-live project.
In addition to the stitch/thread suggestions, you’ll receive printable stitch diagrams and FunSheets with extra tips, too. All of these goodies are included in the Winter Wonderland Needlepoint Workshop.
(NOTE: Stitcher’s Club members will have access to the workshop, so you don’t have to do anything! It’s included as part of your membership.)
I’ve reeaaalllly been wanting to do an online workshop and I’m super-excited about this one!
In fact, I can’t think of a better way to spend a cold January day, can you? If you’ve never participated in an online workshop, let me put your mind at ease… it’s easy peasy! We’ll even send you a special video tutorial to show you exactly how to log in so you don’t miss anything.
And remember, if you can’t join us live, the entire workshop will be recorded so you can access it at your convenience, any time of the day or night.
To recap, if you want to sign up for the Winter Wonderland Needlepoint Workshop, here’s what you’ll get…
- 20 + stitch/thread combinations you can use to create a variety of textures on your needlepoint projects
- 40 + stitch diagrams to guide you in executing those stitches on your canvases (full color + black/white outlines that you can fill in to see how different color combinations look – for each stitch)
- Suggestions for applying the stitches to real canvases – from ornaments to stockings and everything in between
- The opportunity to ask me your needlepoint questions during the workshop
- FunSheets and tutorials to supplement what you’ll learn, including how to create your very own Stitch Resource Notebook
- Lifetime access to the workshop recording so you can log in and go through all of the material at your convenience
- Lagniappe (aka, special surprise bonuses) guaranteed to make you smile
Once you purchase the brand new online Winter Wonderland Needlepoint Workshop, all of the content that goes along with it will be yours to keep – forever!

Alrighty, that’s all, for now, my friend!

Happy Stitching!
XOXO!!! ❤️
I just saw this and am WAY too late, but I was wondering if you are going to repeat it at some time?
Hi Jane
Thank you for your interest in the workshop. Yes – we will be offering it again. I’ll make sure we add your name to the list of people who might want to join us.
Have a restful evening…
XOXO!
Ellen
Need a stitch for a big yellow moon on a Christmas cufff
Hi Gretchen
Thank you for taking the time to ready my blog post. One of my favorite stitches for the moon is the balloon satin stitch.
Happy Stitching…
XOXO!
