CLASS REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration begins immediately on a first come, first served basis. Full payment is required at the time of registration. We have found that some of our classes fill very quickly, so please register as soon as possible. We are able to register you at the shop or over the telephone with a credit card.
All classes and workshops are taught at Serendipity Needleworks, unless otherwise specified. Students are expected to purchase their materials from Serendipity Needleworks. Materials costs are in addition to class and workshop fees. Please purchase materials in advance and be sure that everything is properly prepared (e.g., hanks of yarn are wound into balls and needlepoint canvases are attached to stretcher bars/scroll frames). We have lots of information to share and want to be able to get started right on time.
Classes are limited to 3 participants, unless otherwise noted, to ensure that everyone gets plenty of individualized attention. Class attendance is limited to only those who are participating in the workshop. (Unfortunately, we don't have the staff or facilities to supervise children properly while we're conducting classes.) We respectfully request that cell phones be turned off - or to vibrate mode - during all class sessions. Please excuse yourself from the group if you receive an emergency phone call during class.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We reserve the right to cancel a class or workshop if fewer than 2 participants have registered five days before the start date. In the event a class or workshop does not fill, we will gladly do one of the following:
1) refund your payment
2) apply the amount toward another class or workshop
3) apply the amount toward the purchase of merchandise
Of course, we will notify you as quickly as possible if the class or workshop for which you are registered has not filled.
Please note the following deadlines regarding class and workshop registration:
* Fourteen days or more prior to the start date of the class or workshop - you may remove yourself with no penalty.
* Seven to thirteen days prior to the start date of the class or workshop - credit for another workshop will be given.
* Less than seven days prior to the start date of the class or workshop - class fee is forfeited unless we are able to fill your spot with someone from a waiting list.
NOTE: If you are not present for the class or workshop and you did not notify us ahead of time that you would not be here, you will not receive a refund or credit for another workshop. Keep in mind, if you miss a workshop session, we can often catch you up with a private lesson. That way, you can easily slip into next week's workshop. Private lessons are $40 per hour. (Minimum session is one-half hour.) Please call ahead to reserve your time.
Our schedule is subject to change to meet the needs of our customers. If you have a special topic or time request, we cheerfully accept suggestions.
